There's A Possibility Part 2

The cold night air surrounded the dark castle. There she sat, humming to herself, thinking of her next victim. Her head was bowed down low and her mahogany colored robe was drapped over her. She breathed in deeply and then exhaled slowly, watching as her breath froze in mid-air, forming white smoke around the dead room. There was a dull knock on the wooden door and a wary voice spoke. She raised her hand and the 2 big doors opened. A timid young man, around the 20's cautiously came in, his arms folded around his chest for warmth. He stood infront of her and kneeled down, his head bowed down so low he was nearly kissing the dirty floor.
"My Queen." He said, his voice shaking slightly.
"What seems to be the emergency that you would dare come in here, young peasant." Her eyes flashed dangerously.
The young boy cleared his throat in fear. "Well, um...my queen. I was here to confirm whether you have already chose your next victim." She glared at him.
"Not that I want to hurry you or anything my Dear Mistress." He said hurriedly, afraid that he might have spoken to much.
Her cold voice rang in his ears. "Yes."
The boy schuffled his feet anxiously. The dark eyes continued to glower at him and in that moment, he felt like running out the door screaming for his mother.
"May I know, whom you have chosen, My Queen?" He tried to keep his voice light and cheery, however he could still feel the lump in his throat.
As he looked up, the corners of her mouth raised slightly. He shivered involuntarily and for the first time in his life, he was truly scared.
"Alex." Her tongue flicked the roof of her mouth as she spoke the name.
"Alex?"
"Ambers." She said curtly. "Now leave, before I change my mind."
The young boy nodded his head, bowed down low once more in respect and stumbled out of the room. The doors automatically closed behind him and there she sat alone once again, humming to herself.
"There's a possibility......" She sang.
***
She sat in her mahagony colored robe and waited for her company. She hummed lightly to herself, and the room grew colder and colder. She heard the footsteps draw nearer and the faint knock on the door.
"Come in."
The big doors opened and three people entered the icy room.
"These are the two kids you wanted, my Queen." He bowed down in respect and left, the doors shutting behind him.
The kids stared at her unemotionally and she could feel no sense of feeling in either of them. She smiled in satisfaction and the two of them bowed down in respect.
"You must wonder why you are still alive." She glanced at the blood stained shirt, the girl and the boy was wearing.
"Do you know why you are here?" She asked the boy gently. He nodded. She looked at the girl and she nodded as well.
"Good. You will serve me until I no longer need you, and then your bodies will be disposed of." She spoke in a cold voice that froze the air and sent chills down anybody's spine, however the two kids were unresponsive and she knew her plan would work out perfectly.
"Give me your phone." She said harshly to the boy.
He reached down in his pocket and pulled it out. She dialed the number and waited for the ringing to end.
"Hello?" Said a boy's voice, ranging around the age of sixteen.
"Alex."
"Who's this?"
"It's me, Angel. I want to hang out with you Alex. Is there a possibility Alex, that I could come over Alex?" She said lightly, giggling.
"Yeah, definitely. come over now!" His voice was filled with excitement and enthusiasm.
She laughed gently. "Perfect."
Her eyes blazed with sudden ferocity and excitement. Slowly, she stood up and walked out the doors, her cloak dragging behind her.
"Come."
The dark night surrounded her and she looked out towards the mountains, her hand resting on a decapitated head. She began stroking the hair, unaware that she just murdered that poor girl a few days ago. The skin was already rotting, and a decomposing smell was filling her nostrils. She smirked, sniffing deeply like it smelled like fresh roses that bloomed in the garden.
"Ashley, Ashley, Ashley..." She left the castle, humming to herself once again.
***
She knocked lightly on the door. The door opened suddenly and there he was wearing his a blue graphic t-shirt, and faded blue jeans.
"Hey!" Alex said, smiling. She glared at Alex with such intensity and anger. He took a step back and she took that opportunity to enter the house.
"What's wrong?" He asked, worry washed over his face as he eyed the cloak. "What are you wearing?"
She ignored him. "There's a possibility..."
"What?" Alex asked, slightly irritated and confused.
She took the chair closest to her and pulled it out for Alex to sit on it.
"Sit." He looked at her confused. "NOW!" Her voice echoed in his ears and he obeyed.
"What's going on?" Fear was clearly visible in his face.
She smiled mockingly. "Don't be afraid." She drew nearer, her face inches from his. He looked into her eyes, and saw nothing but black. There was no life in those eyes, just darkness, evil and anger. He gulped in fear and then felt his wrists and legs lose feeling. He looked down and saw two other people tieing him up with rope. He looked up at her but she was gone. She was standing by the window, closing the curtains and carassing a sharp object. He bent his fingers into a fist and saw his knuckles turn white. His breathing came in pants and he tried to loosen the knots but the boy and girl tied it too tightly. He couldn't move.
"You know what to do." She said. Alex looked at her in disbelief. He was shocked by the tone in her voice. It was menacing and sent chills down his spine.
The girl and boy walked towards him, unexpressionless like two rag dolls but covered in dried blood. They looked strangely familiar but he couldn't remember their names.
"Hey aren't you....?" He said slowly.
"Anna, Devin...yes. I killed them a few days ago. Now they're going to help me kill you." She smiled her evil smile.
"Any last prayers?"
His jaw clenched tightly.
"Fine. Let's begin." She drew nearer to him and grabbed his hand. At first he thought he saw a flash of desolation, however it was gone a second later. Instead her eyes blazed with sudden hunger, of torture. She spread his fingers out, holding on to his index finger. She gripped the sharp knife and raised it in the air. Alex eyed the knife in terror.
"What are you doing with that?" He clenched his hand into a fist tightly, refusing to cooperate.
"You are not making this easy for me Alex. This will be more painful if you resist." She said, in a cool voice.
He shook his head violently refusing to spread out his hand. He exhaled heavily, and shut his eyes, wishing he could escape from the terrible agony he was going to feel in just few seconds...
"There's a possibility..." She whispered into his ear. He could feel they tip of knife against his skin...
Agony exploded in a rush of waves. The blood splattered messily on the ground, and the screams were unbearable for any human to hear. However, the hideous laughter of the girl drowned out the poor screams. Nobody could help him now. The pain was beyond anything imaginable, and he felt himself losing conciousness as the blood poured out of his body in sloppy drips. His eyes rolled, and his head fell limply.
"I don't think so Alex. We are not done yet and you're going to miss all the fun if you lose conciousness." He could hear the smile in her voice, but he was already floating into the darkness.
A sharp pain in his arm, brought him back to the surface and he opened his eyes wearily.
"Wha diya put i-me?" His voice slurred.
"Oh just a little "something" to keep you awake through this exciting day. You don't want to miss anything right?" She gently stroked his hair. "Oh, perfect, the bleeding has stopped. Just as planned." She moved behind him and bent down, her lips by his ear.
"We can't let you die on us, can we Alex?" She chuckled. "Yet. We musn't avoid the inevitable Alex, the inevitable is what brought me here today."
His head fell limply, and he breathed heavily as if he just ran a marathon.
"Now, lets make it easier this time Alex. Open your other hand and let me gently cut off some fingers. I need them for a present I will be sending to your family and friends and ofcourse, some for me too. But i prefer the bigger parts of you. So I can hang them as decor around my castle. Besides, we can't leave Ashley's head hanging on a stick by itself for too long. We need more 'roses'. " She laughed and stroked the tip of the knife.
"You....are.....one.....crazy.....bitch." Alex gasped. She looked down upon him immediately, her eyes flashed with contempt and anger.
"Crazy? Oh I am not crazy Alex." She grabbed his hand and sliced down with real force, not caring when the blood sprayed onto her face and cloak. She ignored the terrible screams coming from the boy. He screamed profanitites until the blood stopped pouring from his hand and grinded his teeth from the pain.
"You think that's pain your feeling Alex? You don't know what the meaning of pain is Alex. Let me show you what pain really feels like ." She crossed the room and walked towards Devin and Anna.
"Devin, i need something...sharp." She smiled and comprehension washed over his face. He left the room and came back holding a long, sharp machete. She grabbed it and traced her hand over the shiny, dangerous object.
"Oh this will be fun." She turned around and faced Alex, her face full of excitement.
Alex groaned in pain and eyed the machete. "Oh god, what are you doing with that?"
Her high-pitched laugh rang in his ears. "We're going to continue our little game Alex."
Fear washed over his face as he watched her come closer and closer.
"Why do you look so scared Alex. Aren't you having fun? Isn't this game fun...Alex?" She circled around him, caressing the sharp knife over and over again.
"Now, what to do next." She stopped right infront him, eyeing his whole body.
"Just kill me already, I don't give a fuck." Alex spat bitterly.
She chuckled in response and gestured towards Anna. The girl with the long dark braids and blood red streaks came to her side.
"Cut off whatever you please, my dear Anna. Have fun." Anna took the knife and cut behind his ankles, slashing his ateries. Blood gushed out and yet again, the screams pierced through the cold night air.
"I'm not done yet, Alex. I'm just warming up." Anna gave him the deadly look while she picked up a pair of plyers. Snip, snip. Angel's wicked laugh penetrated the air.
"My Queen?" Anna turned away from the boy and looked at her expectantly.
Comprehension washed over her face and she smirked. "Do whatever you please, my dear child."
Anna nodded curtly and dropped the plyers. She put her hand in her pocket and pulled out little sewing pins. She leaned towards Alex and reached for his face. He squirmed away, tossing and turning his head while she tried to maintain a firm grip. She grabbed his head and pulled it back exposing his neck, but that was not her purpose. She took one of the sewing pens and pulled back his eye lid. Carefully, she pinned his eyelids back and the bottom ones. His eyes were completely exposed and tears splashed down his face. His body tensed up in agony and he could feel his eyes drying out. All Alex could do is endure the stinging pain of his drying eyes.
"Why don't you just end it already? I'm already dead! Just give me the knife and I'll do it myself. I don't give a shit anymore." Alex screamed. It felt like his eyes were being pulled from his sockets.
She stood up and walked towards Alex, her face completely serious. Anna backed away, and let her approach Alex.
"Are you saying that you want to die Alex?" She carassed his face, her fingers moving from the side of his face all the way down to his neck. He shivered from the cold touch.
"Yes. Please, just end it for me. I'm sorry for whatever I did to you. Just please, kill me already." Alex pleaded as more tears dripped down his face.
"Death is not an end Alex. It will not be your escape from this. It will be a new beginning filled with more pain and suffering then you will ever imagine." Her hand cupped his chin tightly. "Don't ever think that you can escape me. Anna and Devin haven't. And neither will you." She let go and tapped Devin lightly on the shoulders.
"Your turn." She whispered gently in his ear.
Devin nodded and gripped the bottle he was holding very tightly. He carefully approached Alex and eyed his whole body. Blood was in pools around the floor everywhere. His shirt was full of sweat and blotches of blood, and his face was smeared in red. Fingers and a full hand, was scattered all over the floor, and his arm lay limply against the chair, twitching from the loss of his hand. He was pale white and looked like he was going to pass out any second, but the drug she gave him, kept him from doing that. He couldn't even close his eyes, cuz they were pinned back. Devin looked at him, with no empathy or concern. He unscrewed the bottle cap and sniffed it.
"What is that?" Alex said wearily, hardly caring anymore.
"This will help the pain." Devin said. He took a needle from his pocket and filled it with fluid. It was clear and for a second, Alex thought it was water. Alex looked down at the bottle and spoke the name.
"Acid? What a minute? THAT'S NOT SUPPOSE TO HELP THE PAIN! What the fuck are you going to do with that? Oh god! NO! NO! NO!" Devin ignored him and reached towards his eyes with the needle. He pinned his head back just like Anna did, and let the fluid slowly drip out of the needle, directly on his pupil. Alex screamed like he never screamed before as he felt the burning sensation in his eye get worse and worse. His body flailed from the pain as Devin put acid on the other eye. He stepped away from the flailing body as he watched the eyes disintegrate. There in the background, a faint clap was barely audible. After the screaming was over, Alex lay in his chair, limply but still concious. He knew his mind was far from sanity now. The pain was unbearable. It felt like his eyes were on fire. All he could see was red but he was glad. He was tired of looking into the dark murderous eyes of his girlfriend. Well, his ex-girlfriend now.
"That was fun. Wasn't it Alex?" Her voice was distant.
He grunted in response.
"Fine. Be that way. I will end it for you. Besides, I'm getting tired of all this excitement. Give me that machete." He heard movement around the room and clash of metal.
He knew more pain was to come.
"This will be painful Alex, but you already know what pain is, don't you Alex?" He felt cold hands push his head back, exposing his bare neck. And this time, there was a purpose for it. The sharp, cold metal bit into his neck and slowly and very painfully, he could feel his skin getting sliced. Back and forth, the machete went and more blood splurted out. He didn't scream, becuase he knew it was almost over and he wasn't going to die screaming and giving what she wanted. The knife cut through his skin and tore through his muscles. The bone was the worst, he almost shrieked from the pain, but he felt a sensation of falling through a dark tunnel. It wasn't so bad anymore. He couldn't even feel.......
"Perfect." She said. "This is definitely decor material especially since 'roses are my favourite." She laughed in joy and picked up the rest of the body parts. His fingers and his hand.
"I want you to send this to his family." Anna and Devin took them and walked out of the house.
"I'm sorry Alex. It didn't have to be this way." She sighed, then laughed again. "But then again, why shouldn't it be?"
She walked out of the house.
"There's a possibility..."
Humming to herself once again, the door behind her closed.
