Alice in Wonderland

Sitting on the ground, watching the autumn leaves fall around her, she can't help but feel like Alice in Wonderland. Her blue dress sparkled from the rays of the sun, her hair glowing in curls around her face...
She laid back on the ground, closing her eyes.
The feel of his lips,
the touch of his hands,
the warmth of his presence.
His face of an angel.
Her eyes snapped open, with that empty feeling in her stomach. Oh, how she misses him dearly,...
Oh, how she thinks of him in most unexpected times.
His presence could never leave her.
Every moment that passed by, she could feel her hands slipping from every memory cherished.
Every adoring word that escaped from his lips,
Every genuine smile that was always saved just for her.
Her hands grow cold to the thought of letting him go, and to the thought of someone else hands replacing hers.
Oh, how he expects her to carry on...what a selfish request...
She slowly sits up and removes the leaves attached to her hair. Gently, she picks up one of the leafs, inspecting it with wonder. Her finger tracing the veins, and the mesh of colors from green to orange, to red.
She crushes the leaf with her hand.
Sitting there alone, she can't help but no longer feel like Alice in Wonderland.
